Nigel Short

Nigel Short is an award-winning conductor, producer and former member of The King’s Singers, best known as the founder and director of Tenebrae, one of the world’s leading vocal ensembles. He has conducted at major venues and festivals including the BBC Proms and Wigmore Hall, worked with many of the UK’s leading orchestras and choirs, and built an internationally recognised recording career with major labels. His Grammy nomination, Opus Klassik Award and Gramophone Award reflect the depth of his expertise in choral performance and vocal leadership.
